Server Characteristics<\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The SPINCap web server allows to monitor the events from Android application that interacts with the cap. At regular intervals the application sends to the web server the operations that have been implemented on the SPINCap which are then\u00a0stored in an SQL database<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The SPINCap web server was built with\u00a0RoR<\/strong>\u00a0(Ruby on Rails) version 5.x.<\/p>\n

At the current stage, the\u00a0recorded operations<\/strong>\u00a0concern: the user\u2019s login; Bluetooth connection; time, date and number of opening\/closing actions; time, date and tank ID of installation\/uninstallation of the cap.
\nIt is also possible to monitor the position of the caps and tanks on which they have been installed.\u00a0Furthermore the system is set up to extend the type of events recorded<\/strong>\u00a0(i.e residual capacity of the tank and real time operations*) and to install plugins that allow you to\u00a0make statistics<\/strong>\u00a0on the data gathered.<\/p>\n

The SPINLevel\u00a0web server\u00a0<\/strong>allows to monitor the events generated by each SPINLevel on the field.<\/p>\n

The events are stored in a\u00a0SQL database<\/strong>\u00a0and the SPINLevel web server is built with\u00a0Ror<\/strong>\u00a0(Ruby on Rails) version 5.x.<\/p>\n

The typical events recorded are:<\/p>\n

-periodic tank level<\/p>\n

-tank fill event<\/p>\n

-tank empty alarm<\/p>\n

-tank spill alarm<\/p>\n

-instrumentation pit flooding alarm<\/p>\n

-SPINCap breaking attempt alarm<\/p>\n

-SPINCap status change event(open,close, battery level, etc)<\/p>\n

-ambient temperature<\/p>\n

The system is set up to extend the type of events recorded<\/strong>\u00a0(i.e. real time operations and data form additional sensors*) and to install plugins that allow to\u00a0make statistics\u00a0<\/strong>on the data gathered.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The\u00a0mobile application<\/strong>\u00a0allows authorized operators to control SPINCap electronic lock in an easy and intuitive way.<\/p>\n

Each instruction is send to the SPINCap via\u00a0BLE connection<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Operators, after the installation steps, can\u00a0open and close SPINCap<\/strong>\u00a0following instructions on screen during refueling of tank. Each screen permits to know the exact operation in progress and advises if there is one not completed.<\/p>\n

A system of messages and alerts advises operators about errors and problems, allowing the management of these in real time.<\/p>\n
